The week that passed....

Our training the past week:

Monday: Obedience training (this week it was obedience-competition with Bonni, it did not go very well, we got a second prize and 144,5 point out of 200. 90% was my fault, the rest was the hormones of Bonni, she was a bit disturbed by the heat of Lexi, and now she also started her heat….).

Tuesday: We took a ride with the Golden Wagon and the bike. Then some hours of fun in the garden.

Wednesday: A long walk and about 10 hours in the garden, playing, searching food and having fun. (The flag-day of Sweden and we had the whole day off!)

Thursday: A one hour ride with the Golden Wagon and the bike, including a bath in the lake. The rest of the evening was all fun, candy-search and play!

Friday:  Obedience-training, candy-search and fun in the garden.

Saturday: A ride for one hour and 20 minutes (the longest we had so far!) with the Golden Wagon and the bike. The rest of the day was spent in the garden and with some obedience training. 

Sunday: Rest for the ladies, both in heat and very emotional….the boys needed to run off some steam, so we took them for about an hour run with the bikes, and of course a bath-stop down by the lake. 

I estimate that our dogs have about 2-4 hours of activites each day, and they spend about 12-18 hours in the outdoors. I read an article showing that a lot of dogs, cannot remember how many but it was more then half, spent about 23 hours in the house - that is not a good dog-life!!  

Now we have one more week of work, then it is holiday!! We will spend the whole holiday working with our dearest – it is just so much fun! If the heat-issue does not “ruin” everything that can be called concentration we will try to do some bloodtracking as well – we need two more first prizes to have two new Champions!
